my blogging break.
Things have been a bit crazy around here.
The kind of crazy that comes with packing up everything you own and moving in 1 short week.
Our big move is next Saturday May 5th.
6 days.
Yikes.
Then we will be living in a house with a bed, a crib, a few clothes, and one small TV that I begged Jeremy to keep so that I would have something to watch during the day for one. long. week.
Then on May 12th, we will be officially homeless. Well. Not exactly but we we will have to be moved out of our house and into my in-laws by then.
Kinda bittersweet in some ways but over the last fews weeks of packing up our stuff, I've had such a peace and a realization that it's just stuff.
It's not what's really important.
And it has no eternal value.
So until life calms down and we're living our new "normal", I probably won't blog much.
We're still here.
And life is crazy. and good.

Mady's new wheels
Mady got some new wheels last week! The physical therapist brought this car over to help strengthen her leg muscles. Well we've had A LOT of 'leg strengthening" over the last several days as Mady LOVES this thing!

Houston Trip Part 1
We had a great time in The Woodlands, TX which is north of Houston a few weeks ago. I LOVE all the trees that are everywhere in the The Woodlands and they have so many neat parks and ponds. We went on walks at least once a day, sometimes twice.
The only problem with Texas is it's horrible heat. I looked at the weather before we left on the trip and it said lows in the 50s and highs in the 70s. What liars! I'm pretty sure it got up to 90 degrees one day and mixed with the suffocating humidity, it was extremely hot! Especially for March!
Jeremy and I have decided we're going to LOVE the summers in Wyoming.
While on one of our walks, we took bread to feed the ducks.
We thought we'd see several...we saw 3. Apparently they thought it was too hot also. But, we still had fun!
We took the next pictures on Amy's front porch.

A few updates
Update 1: We have a contract on our house! YAY! The Lord really provided and never in our dreams did we think we would sell our house after only listing it for 2 weeks. We also sold it for more than I thought we would!
So now the REAL fun begins....moving.
Boxes anyone?
Update 2: Mady has been crawling! No not the army crawling that we've been doing for months but actual hands and knees crawling! I haven't got any pictures of it and she doesn't do it for long periods of time but I am really excited for her!
April...the month of gross motor development?
I sure hope so!
Update 3: A couple of days ago, Mady turned 16 months! And the day didn't completely pass me by but in the craziness of selling our house, I just didn't have time to make my usual 16 month post.
Have no fear, the next one will be full of pictures of our beautiful little girl.
She's growing up so fast!
